University of Northern British Columbia Prince George 26-29 May 1995
The New Directions in British Columbia History Conference will be a forum for addressing new methodologies, new theoretical approaches, and new subjects. Conference sessions will also follow a variety of formats to allow for maximum discussion and interaction.

An excursion to Fort St. James, one of the oldest fur trading locations in British Columbia and site of a National Historic Park.
Those who register for the conference before 1 May will be sent a package of pre-conference reading. A number of the sessions will be based on the assumption that many in the audience will have read this material in advance.
