At the request of Hannu Salmi I want to introduce your readers to the journal Film & History, a scholarly journal that has been in business for about 25 years. We publish articles on the effective use of moving images in the history/social studies classroom, analysis of the history, holdings and political and financial status of various film and tleevision archives, use of new ways of presenting history in film productions and specific analysisi of a single film or genre.
