I have been invited to guest edit a special issue of the British journal, History of Photography, on Henri Cartier-Bresson. I am particularly interested in receiving and publishing historical and critical articles on his photography that represent a wide range of perspectives and methodologies. I also welcome articles on Cartier-Bresson's drawing and painting, and on his film work in the 1930s and 40s and his television programs in the 1970s.
The issue will run early in 1997. Deadline for submission of articles to me is March 15, 1996. I would be happy to correspond with anyone interested in writing for this issue. Please pass this call along to interested colleagues who may not subscribe to this list serve.
